First Motnessori training offered to 100 teachers in Rome. First book, titled "The Montessori Method" in English, is published- eventually translated into over 20 languages.

First training offered in Londan- format standardized, 50 hours of classroom lecture, 50 hours of practice with materials, 50 hours of classroom observation
