    President Thomas Jefferson bought the Louisiana Territory from France. This doubled the nation in size.

  • The Texas Revolution

    Texas Fought for their independence. This was a war that lasted for a year.

  • The California Gold Rush

    People dug up land to find gold in California. This lasted 7 years
