    The pilot has a heart attack, causing him to lose control and crash the plane.
  • Brian builds a shelter

    Brian decides to build a shelter and finds the location for it when searching for food. Hit’s located in the side of a cliff making it like a cave. While he likes it, wind at the entrance is a problem. However, Brian intertwines branches across the entrance to make a wall to block the wind.
  • Finds his first food source

    Finds his first food source
    Brian goes on a search for food because he’s deprived of food. While investigating the location of some birds, he comes across some berries that the birds were eating. From there, Brian has now found his first food source.
  • Porcupine encounter

    Porcupine encounter
    When asleep, Brian wakes up to movement near his feet. Unaware it’s a porcupine, Brian is scared and wants to throw the hatchet towards the movement. It’s too late as he feels a sharp pain in his leg. Looking down, he see barbs from the porcupine sticking out and has to pull them out.
  • Creating a fire

    Brian discovers by striking his hatchet against a rock it creates sparks. From there, the idea to make a fire is made into a reality as it helps him survive and gives him a chance to be found.
  • Search plane

    Brian one day while picking berries hears a search plane approaching. He sprints towards the signal fire that he had made and immediately starts it. Unfortunately, once he starts it it’s too late as the plane had already passed.
  • Tornado and Backpack discovery

    One night, Brian is woken up by a tornado. From being alone, the tornado tears his shelter down, sends his supplies into the lake, and it seems like he has to start from square one. The aftermath of the tornado caused the position of the plane to switch around in the water. Brian sees this and decides to build a raft to swim out to it, and dives for the survival pack located inside. Once to the plane, he goes inside, he finds backpack & swims back to shore to find out what’s in the backpack.
  • Rescued

    Rescued
    Brian finds an emergency transmitter within the survival backpack. From there a plane is able to locate Brian. Brian is then rescued, and returns home changed due to his ability of surviving in the conditions he faced for 54 days.
