Police believe this was a targetted shooting. An 18 year old male was charged with first degree murder but cannot be identified under the Youth Criminal Justice Act. -

Father of a newborn, his body was found riddled with bullets alongside his brother in the stairwell of an underground parking garage near Yonge Street and Sheppard Avenue West. Police believe this was a targetted shooting. An 18 year old male was charged with first degree murder but cannot be identified under the Youth Criminal Justice Act. -
Jaivoan Cromwell 19
Cromwell was shot in the stomach at approximately 10:30 p.m.outside an apartment building near Jane Street and St. Clair Avenue West. When shot, he stumbled into a convenience store for assistance. He died later at Sunnybrook Hospital. -
Paul Fitzgerald Benn 38
Shot in a parkette in the Lawrence Avenue West and Avenue Road area. Multiple shots were fired but no one else was injured. Police report that Benn was targetted. He was rushed to Sunnybrooke hospital where he died. -
James Massey 35
Shot and killed in Oriole Park, close to the children's playground in the Yonge Street and Chaplin Crescent area. Police reported that the shooting was not random and that Massey had been targetted. -
Delano Coombs 27
Execution style murder committed while Coombs was still in his car. Neighbours and their children in the townhouse complex witnessed the murder which took place in the Scarlett Road and Dundas Street West area of Toronto. Coombs had been arrested 8 years earlier in Brampton for a shooting but police could not say whether he had been convicted. -

Found shot to death in an idling Cadillac in Scarborough, Ontario. Berkedle was known to police. -

Victim of the shooting at the Eaton Center food court in which 2 people were killed and five were injured. Nirmalendran was affiliated with the Regent Park 'Sic Thugs' gang. Police say that this was a targetted killing. -

Shot dead in a patio restaurant in Toronto's Little Italy by a masked gunman. Raposo once belonged to the McCormick Boys gang. Charged was Dean Wiwchar, 26, with first degree murder. -

Of Somali origin, Hussein was shot in an apartment building in the Yonge Street and Highway 401 area of Toronto. He was known to be involved in the illegal drug trade. -
Abdulle Elmi 25
Of Somali origin, Elmi was shot multiple times in the torso in Etobicoke. Police found his body, pyjama-clad and barefoot, on a quiet residential street just after 4 a.m. He was the cousin of Ahmed Hassan, killed in the Eaton Centre shootings. Both were affiliated with Sic Thugs, a Regent Park street gang. -

Shot dead along with Shyanne Charles while 23 others were injured at a block party on Danzig Street in Scarborough, Ontario. A gang related territorial dispute erupted in an exchange of gunfire. Charged were Shaquan Mesquito with 2 counts of first degree murder and Nahon Tsegazab with 2 counts of second degree murder. -

Killed by a single gunshot following a soccer game at Eglinton Flats, a park in the Jane and Eglinton area of Toronto. About 20 people witnessed the shooting. Police do not think there was gang affiliation and cannot verify if this was a targetted killing. -
Daniel Davis 27
Known also as 'Snoop', Davis was found shortly after midnight with gunshot wounds to the face and neck, behind Flemingdon Park School in the Lawrence Heights area of Toronto. Davis had attended the Danzig Street party which claimed the lives of two people who were gunned down in a gang related dispute just days earlier. -
Donald Levy 30
Shot beside his car while his two year old daughter was inside. Levy was known to police and was targetted by his killer. He died 12 days later in hospital of his injuries. -

Shot in a fifth floor hallway of an apartment building in the Upper Beaches of Toronto. Andrew Burnett and Jeramy Henry were charged with first degree murder. -

Farrah, of Somali descent, was known to police. He was shot during an argument with a passenger in his car near Malvern in Toronto's east end. The assailant drove off in the car which was later located 6 kilometres from the scene in a plaza parking lot. -

Of Somali origin, Ali was slain by gunfire on the same day as Suleiman Ali. The two men were not related to each other. The killing took place in the Jamestown area of Etobicoke close to Greenholme Middle Junior School. -

Gunned down on the eleventh floor of apartment building on San Romanoway, at the corner of Jane Street and Finch Avenue. -

Shot in the garage of his home in Scarborough while his mother and family were inside. Two males were seen fleeing from the scene. -

Drive-by shooting in Lawrence Heights area of Toronto. Police arrived to find Engelbrecht with a gunshot wound to the head, lying in the driveway of the home where he lived . He died later in hospital. -

Bailey was gunned down in the stairwell of a Regent Park apartment building in downtown Toronto. While he had no apparent gang affiliation, police believe that the shooting was not random. No arrests have been made. -

Shot in his apartment near Jane Street and Finch Avenue. A 17 year old has been charged with manslaughter in what may have been an accidental shooting. The name of the accused can not be released under the Youth Criminal Justice Act. -
Naveed Shahnawaz 19
Gunshots were fired as a group of men fought in a parking lot in downtown Toronto, about 2.5 km. west of the CNE grounds. Shahnawaz was struck by bullets and died in hospital 5 days later. Tony Hoang Dinh, 18, of Toronto has been charged with first-degree murder. -
Jarvis Montaque 15
Gunned down in front of a home in the Jamestown Crescent area of Rexdale. Montaque, a grade 10 student, was not known to police. While standing amongst a group, a lone gunman approached Montaque and shot him at point blank range.
