    Malcolm X was born with the name Malcolm Little in Omaha, Nebraska. Malcolm did well in school until discouraged by his teacher, then later turned to petty crime and ended up in jail. He later joined the Nation of Islam and increased their membership to 30,000 1963. After adheering from the leader's teachings he created his own organization sending messages to all races and not just african americans. He was later killed by 3 members of the NOI. His legacy has moved through generations.
