    George died in Montgomery, Alabama he got shot by a 21-year-old Arthur Herman Bremer. He had originally planned to assassinate Richard Nixon (President) but settled on Wallace because he thought security around the president was too much. He was sentenced 53 years in prison but they lowered it down to 35 for good behavior and was released in November 9, 2007 (he was 57-years-old at that time). He is under supervision until June 15, 2025 (He would be 75-years-old).
