this event is important becasue , it abloishes slavery and it takes everyone who is in slavery out of it and nobody should be a slave for someone else or should be treated as a slave . -

Grandfather clause
these laws required voters to prove thier grandfather could vote . i htink this is not important becasue people sho9uld njjust vote if they want to , and shouldnt need there grandfateher to have them vote or something !? -
19th amendment
grants the right for women to vote. i think this is imortant because women should have every right to vote and shouldnt be holded back from it and ,women have alot rights for stuff and women are women so they should be able to at least have the right to vote -
24th amendment
otlaw polls taxes , i think this event can lead to another event because people can change what they think abou this amendmet .
