  • Nick Comes to town

    Nick had just arrived in New York, where he moved to work in the bond business, and rented a house on a part of Long Island called West Egg.
  • Tom & Nick

    Tom and Nick take a train through the valley of ashes. Tom introduces Myrtle to Nick. Tom is having an affair. Nick hears rumors about the infamous Gatsby which is his neighbor.
  • Gatsby

    Gatsby has become so famous around New York is that he throws elaborate parties every weekend at his mansion. Nick recieves an inventation to a party. Nick and Jordan, curious about their host, set out to find Gatsby. Instead, they run into a middle-aged man who says Gatsby does not exist. Gatsby emerges and asks Nick to lunch.
  • Gatsbys Story

    As they drive to the city, Gatsby tells Nick about his past. He claims to be the son of wealthy, deceased parents San Francisco. Gatsby then lists a long set of accomplishments: he was educated at Oxford, collected jewels in the capitals of Europe, awarded medals in WWl.Gatsby produces a medal from Montenegro and a picture of himself playing cricket at Oxford to convince Nick
  • Gatsby & Daisy

    Gatsby wants Nick to invite Daisy over for tea. Nick tells Gatsby that he will help him with the plan. Gatsby offers to have someone cut Nick’s grass. He also offers him some money by joining him in some business he does on the side.At first, Gatsby’s reunion with Daisy is awkward. Then they warm up to eachother and fall in love again
  • The Real Gatsby

    Gatsby was born James Gatz on a North Dakota farm, and attended college at St. Olaf’s in Minnesota, he dropped out after two weeks, loathing the humiliating janitorial work. The grateful Cody took young Gatz, who gave his name as Jay Gatsby, on board his yacht as his personal assistant. Gatsby fell in love with wealth and luxury.
  • Myrtle Dead

    Nick takes the train to East Egg for lunch at the house of Tom and Daisy. Gatsby and Jordan Baker are there as well. When the nurse brings in Daisy’s baby girl, Gatsby is stunned and can hardly believe that the child is real. Gatsby and Daisy cannot hide their love for one another. Complaining of her boredom, Daisy asks Gatsby if he wants to go into the city. Gatsby stares at her passionately, and Tom becomes certain of their feelings for each other. riding into town Myrtle is hit by Daisy.
  • Gatsby Dead

    Gatsby takes the blaim for Daisy hitting Myrtle. Daisy never shows up at Gatsbys house. Nick suggests that Gatsby forget about Daisy and leave Long Island, but Gatsby refuses to consider leaving Daisy behind. Gatsby goes to drain the pool when Wilson, Myrtles husband, shoots Gatsby realizing his car ran her over.
  • Funeral

    Feeling that Gatsby would not want to go through a funeral alone, Nick tries to hold a large funeral for him, but all of Gatsby’s former friends and acquaintances have either disappeared.Tom and Daisy, for instance, move away with no forwarding address or refuse to come, like Meyer Wolfshiem and Klipspringer. Gatsbys father appears and Nick realizes Gatsby had lied about his parents being dead. Daisy never shows up (old $ doesnt care about anyone but themselves)
