    Japanese attacked China without a declaration of war. Planes rained terror on Chinese cities especially Shanghai and Najing. They even killed 3 American sailors when warplanes sank.

    This act allowed " cash-and-carry" allowed nations to buy goods and arms in the US if the paid cash and carried the merchandise back on their own ships
  • Hitler Attacks

    Hitler sent his army west and attacked Denmark and Norway. The two countrys fell almost immediately.

  • Japanese Attack

    The Japanese attacked Pearl Harbor. They did a surprize attack. The bombing killed more than 2,300 Americans. The American U.S.S. Arizona was completely destroyed, sank the total of 12 ships, 160 aircrafts were destroyed

  • Bataan Death March

    75,000 Allied soldiers surrenderd Japanese troops forced the prisoners of war to walk 55 miles up the Bataan to reach a railway that took them inland where they were made to walk 8 more miles more 7,000 troops died
  • Doolittle Raid

    Doolittle Raid
    American Aircrafts went over and bombed Japan which was led by Colonel James Doolittle. This raid killed 50 Japanese and damages 100 bulidings
