Torres debuts "Untitled"(L.A.) a minimalist work consisting of 175 pounds of green candy wrapped in cellophane. Viewer's are invited to take one, and the museum will enlessly replenish. It is often interpreted as a representation of his dying partner's AIDS ravaged body, considering it is the ideal body weigth of his partner, and was made the year Ross Laycock died. -

Crystal Bridges purchased "Untitled" in an unexpectedly kind gesture. It changes the feel of the musuem, because it's in the last room you have to go through. It makes the musuem seem kinder, with the security guards recomending you pick up a piece of candy and all.
