Francisco Pizarro was born in March 16, 1475 in Trujillo, Spain.
Gonzalo Pizarro y Rodriguez was his father and Francisca Gonzalez Mateos was his mother. Francisca was an only child. -
In the 1480s, Pizarro was illiterate and spent most of his time tending pigs. Not much else is known about Pizarro’s early life .Most likely due to his obscurity.

During his teenage years, Pizarro found his way into the Spanish army, though he had not received much of a formal education to accompany his new post.

In September 9, 1513, Pizarro joined the expedition of Nunez de Balboa across the Isthmus of Panama to discover the Pacific Ocean.He captured and killed Incan emperor Atahualpa and claimed the lands for Spain.

The warlike spirit of the people they had just encountered seemed so defiant and dangerous in numbers that the Spanish decided not to enter the land.

Then they decided to sail back to the territory already explored by Ruiz, after a difficult voyage because of the strong winds and currents, reached Atacames in the Ecuadorian coast. Here they found a very large native population recently brought under Inca rule.

In November 1, 1526 to late 1527, It took much longer than the first voyage. It took over 160 men with many horse and two ships. Diego de Almagro led one ship and Francisco Pizarro led the other.

The governor of Panama still refused to support his Francisco pizarro ideas, so pizarro traveled to spain to presented the king and queen with golden objects and told about his adventures in South America. The king and queen liked to gold so they supported pizarro's plan.

Pizarro founded the city of Lima and named it Peru’s capital. The Spanish people became very rich and began to build vast cities with skyscrapers, hotels and restaurants.

Francisco pizarro died in June 26,1541 because he was assassinated. He was near 70 years old when he died.
