  • Emergency Banking Act of 1933

    This was used as relief. This act allows only Federal Reserve-approved banks to operate in the United States. This gave the President a chance to declare national emergency.
  • Civilian Conservation Corps

    This was a working relief program. This program prodvided employment in the freah-air government camps for about 3 million unifromed young men.

    The act was meant for relief. FERA operated a wide variety of work relief projects, including construction, projects for professionals, and production of consumer goods.

    This was a reform act. Provided that Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation which insured indiviuals despotis up to $5000. It elimnated the epidemic of bank failure and restoring faith to banks.
  • Civil Works Aministration

    Relief. It was designed to provide temporary jobs during the winter emergency. Manual jobs for unemployed. It helped with construction.
  • Indian Reorganiztion Act

    John Collier encouraged Indian tribes to preserve their cultures and traditions. (The Indian New Deal) Reform.
  • Works Progress Administration

    Relief. It employed millions of unskilled workers to carry out public works projects, including the construction of public buildings and roads, and operated large arts, drama, media, and literacy projects.

    Recovery, It guaranteed the right of unions to organize and to collectively bargin with management.

    Relief . It set up minimum wage and maximum hours standards. It forbade children under the age of 16 from working.
