Capri pants became popular for women and skinny pants came into fashion. the pants became much tighter. For men the fit around the thigh was sporty and not at all the relaxed fit that men were accustomed to. -

Dresses were more open and "flowy" like. -

Ruffles were added to womens dresses. -
