    After a while the Slaves and the women would help make the clothes. The porcess was first to pick it then to brush it out to make kind of a cloth and then finally they would sew the clothes.

    thousands of years ago in Europe the first fashion trend started Moccasins leather leggings and dear skin cloth.

    when slavery first started happening the slaves had to pick cotton. so people would use the cotton to make shirts and and other things to wear.

    the woman would make garments for there familys and neighbors using the material.

    For the nest years nothing really changes the process remains the same.

    Around this time all anyone cared about (the girls) was being curvy and having a tight waist. So to reach this goal the girls would wear tight lace wich would force their hips back creating an S shape.
  • Not as tight

    As the years went on people werent as pushy about the 15inch waist. During the time this was changing pastel colors and velvet were coming into play. Turbans were also slightly popular.

    When the World War ended things changed very much. Corsets were abandoned and women began wearing short bob dresses. Women also started to dress like men. Male wardrobe remained slightly the same.

    During this time things were kind of bland nothing really popped. It was somber and modest.
  • World War 2

    From this time on no more than 13 feet was ever used on a coat, because it was such a difficult time. Also no belt could be over 3 centimeters. Permed hairstyles were a common look and it was really drab outfit choices.
  • Coco Chanel

    As time went on there was no progress everything was still boring but in the mid 50's people had a whole new out look on the silloette. The sholders broader and the waist skinnier. Eventually high waited dresses and coates became a everyday look. Coco chanel was making a come back. She presented her ideas such as her famous little braided suit with gold chains. Shiny costume jewlery and,silk blouses. The items were redesigned and then put out for people to wear.
  • throw back to the 20's

    During the time of the 60's there was a radical shake up and people started to result back to the 20's fashion. The child like bobbed hair cut was now mostly sence along with the knee lengh skirts. Wich began getting shorter and shorter then being called the mini skirt. While everyone was airing the new skirt Coco Chanel on the other hand was against showing above the knee. She continued working on concervitive designes. Also in this era flat toed boot that went up the leg were being made.

    This stage was kind of you love it or hate it kind of thing. It was the "hippie stage". During this stage of time there was everything from afros to platform soles, tie die and very vibrent colors. This was by far the most fun colorful happy stage out of all the dacades.
  • A' la Mode

    During this decade is when everybody started to really appreciate fashion, resulting in fashion shows and many people wanting to now design clothes. A standard mens haircut was a mullet, and skinny neckties wrapped around sunglasses so you could hold them around your neck. Also during this time is when different cultures started to be more open and people would show off there religon with clothing. Everything was coming together in the fashion world.
  • underdress? or overdress?

    The multiple trends that bloomed during the 80's was torn down alittle bit when the 90's came along. people scared of being underdressed now had a fear of being overdressed. The riskay and showy styles were popular in years before but now people just wanted to be fashionable and glamorus. The company Gucci was really taking off, people really liked it. In some ways people were kind of confused on with route to take with there fashion now that everybody kind of did there own thing.

    Eventually everybody found something right for them. Some people kept the "hippie look" others stayed with the bobbed haircut of the 20's. People that were into dance or hip hop wore baggy pants and loose clothes. Some like more clothes some like less. Everyone likes and does something different.
