He spent most of his child in Buffalo, New York through 1898 to 1901, and in Syracuse, New York through 1901 to 1908. He was sent to two catholic schools, Holy Angels Convent and Nardin Academy. After his father got fired, his family moved back mInnesota where he attended St. Paul Academy.

They had a girl named Frances Scott "Scottie" Fitzgerald.

Scott Fitgerald continued to write novels, including one story called the "Rise and Fall of Dick Diver", which many critics believed was a story that was about Zelda and Scott's relationship at that time. Zelda had also written a story called "Save Me The Walt" which was about Zelda and Scott's realtionship, which angered Scott because he didn't want their "relationship" being told to everyone.
