D-Day was a day when young and old African Americans came out to protest and Bull Connor was not happy about this so he called in the fire department to bring fire hoses and the police department to bring in K9's. He used the fire hoses against the African Americans and Used the Dogs to attack the African Americans. The police department try'd to arrest everyone they could that day.

Double D-Day was another protesting day the police try'd to arrest anyone they could. This infuriated Bull Connor and by May 7, they arrested more than 3,000 people

Connor suffered a stroke which put him in a wheel chair for the rest of his life.

A few weeks after the stroke he died
