Four years after Ernst achieved his doctorates the University of Graz in Austria offered him a position as a professor. -
Head Chair
In 1867 he was appointed the Chair of Experimental Physics at Charles University. With his 28 years on the Chair he produced most of his most impressive work and saw the publication of over one hundred scientific papers. While on the chair Ernst conducted studies on the changes of kinesthetic sensation and equilibrium associated with movement, acceleration and the change of orientation to the human body. -
