From 1923 to 1931, Ernest Nagel went to several universities where he achieved multiple PhDs. He first attended the University in New York Where he received a Bachelor of Science. In 1925 he then received a master's degree in Philosophy from Columbia University. Then finally in 1931 receives his PhD in philosophy from the same university. reference:

From 1901 to 1985 Ernest Nagel was a well-known philosopher of science. Contribution he wrote numerous books explaining the structures of science and writing about the logic of scientific inquiry. He also contributed to the function of logically explaining the scientific method. Ernest Nagel largest and known contribution was to the University of Columbias in New York explaining his theories and giving seminars and lectures to many students on philosophy. -
