Those people either just crossed over or brought picks and hammers to destroy the wall.

    Germany was reunified in 1990 which was the process in which the German Democratic Republic joined the Federal Republic of Germanyto form the reunited nation of Germany. They did this so Germany could be whole again.

    Boris Yeltstin seved as the President of Russia from 1991 to 1999. He was a member of the communist part and played a huge role in the collapse of the Soviet Union.
