  • "Batdad Begins"

    Thomas Wayne is born on January 23, 1950 to Patrick Wayne and a mother whom remained unspecified during his lifetime. Thomas Wayne was born into the Wayne family fortune.
  • "Batmom Begins"

    Martha Wayne (née Kane) is born on October 11, 1950 to Roderick and Elizabeth Kane. Martha Kane became the heiress to the Kane family fortune, the other half of Gotham's economic ownership.
  • "Royal Families of Gotham"

    Thomas Wayne and Martha Kane are married and wed, joined in the bonds of true love. The combined fortunes of their families would help them and Gotham thrive. Along with beloved friend Alfred Pennyworth, they begin a new life in Wayne Manor together.
  • "New Friends"

    Thomas and Martha Wayne travel to the Midwest on business. On their way home, the night sky reveals a crash-landing space probe containing a partial consciousness of Krpytonian Jor-El. Thomas inspects the Kryptonian probe and quickly befriends Jor-El, the latter of whom informs Thomas of the impending doom his planet will face, and that he has considered Earth a candidate to send his soon-to-be newborn son, Kal-El. Days later, Thomas uses the technology given him to advance WayneTech.
  • "Charity"

    Thomas and Martha establish the Wayne Foundation, funded by WayneTech, to act as Gotham City's charity and city improvement organization; Thomas and Martha believed fondly in the potential goodness Gotham City had within its streets.
  • "Heir to the Gotham Throne"

    Bruce Thomas Wayne was born, becoming the young heir to Gotham City's largest fortune. Bruce, from then on, continued in a life of luxury, and grew an adventurous attitude.
  • "Cats and Bats"

    Selina Kyle was born to Brian and Maria Kyle, a poor family in the lower class areas of Gotham. Selina began a life of crime at an early age due to her fascination with shiny objects.
  • "Heiress to the Gotham Throne"

    Katherine Rebecca Kane was born to Colonel Jakob Kane and Gabi Kane, with her twin sister Elizabeth Alice Kane to a strict, military family. Kate is related to Bruce as her last remaining blood relative, though the pair's blood is distant.
  • "Batman Begins"

    Thomas and Martha Wayne take their young son Bruce out on a summer Sunday evening for a night of operatic theatre. After the performance, the trio of Waynes are confronted by Joe Chill. Bruce Wayne witnessed Joe Chill murder his parents at the young age of 8. Thomas and Martha were both 33 at this time.
  • "Batwoman Begins"

    While living in Brussels, Kate's family was abducted by the Religion of Crime, which was aware of the family's high U.S. military status. Kate's mother was killed and sister supposedly, as well, but she and her father escaped to Gotham City and began a new life, reclaiming their old fortune (linked to Martha Wayne).
  • "Young Wayne Abroad"

    Bruce Wayne embarks on a long journey as a young teenage genius, attending classes in universities such as Cambridge and the Sorbonne to gain an immense academic knowledge. As well as attending school, Bruce would take this time to embark on more perilous journeys, where he eventually trained with the League of Assassins, headed by Ra's al Ghul.
  • "Army Brat"

    Kate Kane, at a very young age, hoped to honor her aging father by joining the military. Going away to military school, she was toughened all her life, but faced bullying due to her attraction to other girls.
  • "Goddess of the Hunt"

    Helena Rosa Bertinelli was born to Maria Panessa Bertinelli and her love affair Santo Cassamento. Helena and her mother went on to receive a life of abuse from her adoptive father, Franco Bertinelli. Helena grew up tough under the arms of a very large mafia family, which would shape her views on crime in the future.
  • "Return of the Heir"

    Bruce Wayne returns to Gotham City a changed man, having learned very much from a mysterious group called the League of Assassins, said to have progressed faster than any other assassin student.
  • "The Young Heir Returns"

    On his 19th birthday, Bruce Wayne returned to Gotham City a changed man, much to Alfred's surprise. Greeted by a warm home in Wayne Manor, Bruce would begin a short period of resting time.
  • "Little Miss Gotham"

    Bette Kane was born to Elizabeth Kane and an unkown father, whom she hadn't met all her life, but due to the state of her mentally broken mother, was raised under her cousin, Kate's, care.
  • "The Cowl"

    It was on the anniversary of his parents death that Bruce Wayne was struck with an idea, and although it sounded eccentric and insane, he was persistent on vengeance for his parents death, and determined to never rest until the safety of Gotham City was as his parents desired. Bruce, that night, was struck by a bat through his window, and through the fear of that event was the legacy of Batman.
  • "Wooing the Demon"

    Events based on Son of the Demon take place. Batman travels to a foreign country to inspect a criminal patterning having to do with Ra's al Ghul and 20-year-old assassin daughter Talia al Ghul, whom rapes Batman whilst there.
  • "Blood-Haired Bat"

    Finishing military school, and resting a while in Gotham City, caring for her elderly father, Kate sought new purpose, still affected by the loss of her mother and sister. After hearing of the new, young Batman saving people in Gotham City, Kate was not hesitant to follow in his footsteps and become the feared and beautiful Batwoman.
  • "Catwoman Begins"

    On the night of Christmas Eve, Selina Kyle dons a black suit and a pair of high-tech goggles for the first time and begins true black market work under the guise of Catwoman. Very much like Bruce Wayne's Batman, Catwoman is hesitant at the thought of murdering another person; her fascination remains in grand theft and infiltration jobs for any villains in the higher-ups.
  • "Gods Among Us"

    Batman receives a distress signal about a large new-age alien crash landing on Earth and causing overall massive distress and casualties. Obliging, Batman leaves Gotham City to inspect what is being called "Starro." Upon finding the alien, he finds a team of superpowered beings living among humans, and they debut themselves as the Justice League of America for the first time.
  • "Daddy's Little Bat"

    Barbara Gordon is born to James Gordon and Barbara Eileen Gordon as their third, and youngest child, and first daughter. Barbara would soon overcome her parents divorce soon after.
  • "The Littlest Flying Grayson"

    Richard John Grayson was born to John and Mary Grayson, and became the third member of the performing acrobats, the Flying Graysons. Dubbed "Dick" and put in tights, the young boy would grow to be a talented third acrobat for Halley's Circus, which frequented Gotham City's Amusement Mile.
  • "Young Prodigy"

    Cassandra Cain was born to David Cain and Sandra Woo-San, in a situation resulting in David and Sandra creating the genetically perfect assassin under the League of Assassins. Cassandra would train with them and alter her brain to gain a newer form of dyslexia thereafter.
  • "Streetrat"

    Jason Peter Todd was born to Willis Todd, a criminal, and an unknown biological mother, and left to be raised by Catherine Todd, a drug-addict. Raised more by the streets, Jason would begin a tough early life, and take on many obstacles, which would earn him complex skills and knowledge.
  • "Spoiled Little Bat"

    Stephanie was born from Arthur Brown, a C-list Gotham villain, and Crystal Brown. Stephanie Brown's innate cluefinding capabilities have gained her a strong future as a crime fighter and assistant detective.
  • "The Batman's Biggest Fan"

    Timothy Jackson Drake was born to Jack Drake and Janet Drake and led a relatively normal life. Tim was always an intelligent young person.
  • "Huntress Begins"

    At age 8, Helena Bertinelli's family was shot at dinner by a man representing the Mandragora and her biological father, and was spared by mistake. Helena was taken to Sicily soon after for safety.
  • "Abused Orphan"

    Colin Wilkes is born to two unknown parents and orphaned at a very young age. Colin would live a rough life on the streets soon after, and become involved in a web of criminal activity against his own advantages and will. Colin was raised by nuns in an orphanage.
  • "Holy Disasters, Batman"

    Haly's Circus comes to town and six-year-old Dick Grayson is hesitant to perform, as Anthony "Fats" Zucco and Edward Skeevers sabotaged the ropes and nets of his fathers' and mothers' trapeze in order to use the tents for drug trafficking. John and Mary Grayson plummeted to their deaths, leaving the young Grayson traumatized. Also watching the accident, Bruce Wayne was quick to adopt the young Grayson as his son.
  • "The First Sidekick"

    Two days after the disaster afflicting Dick Grayson, Bruce pursued Anthony "Fats" Zucco and Edward Skeevers in an attempts to avenge Dick Grayson and his fallen parents. With a bit of cunning, though, Dick found himself uncovering the truth about Bruce's secret identity, and became Batman's sidekick, Robin, after following the caped crusader and helping him take down Zucco and Skeevers. The duo dubbed themselves Batman and Robin from then on; Dick furthered his combat training afterwards.
  • "Azrael Begins"

    Jean-Paul Valley was born to Jean-Paul Valley, Sr. and a genetic experiment involving wild animals. This was the beginning of his chronicle with The System, as his genetic were tampered with during his creation. Soon after, Jean-Paul would be sent to Switzerland under the order of St. Dumas to train for ten years.
  • "True Bat Origins"

    Damian Wayne (also Ibn al Xu'ffasch) is born to Bruce Wayne and Talia al Ghul, conceived into full human form from a synthetic birth in an artificial womb. Damian, from then on, would live a life training with the League of Assassins.
  • "Bat's Best Friend"

    Batman and Robin adopt Titus, and begin training him as a young, obedient assistant and guard dog. Later, Titus earns the name as the first Bathound.
  • "Big Sister"

    Returning from Sicily and Switzerland, and a life of crossbow and combat training by her cousin Salvatore Asaro, Helena was re-exposed to Gotham City on Christmas Eve with a bloody outlook on life; returning to a crime family whom she had learned the truth about and despised, Batman crashed the criminals' Christmas party and brought them all to justice with the help of Helena. Helena was taken in by Batman at age 12.
  • "The Debut of Robin"

    By this time, Helena Wayne and Dick Grayson were both trained fighters and ready to take on the roughest of Gotham's criminals. With Helena at 14 and Dick at 10, the two alternated as Batman's smiling sidekick, who was renowned for pestering villains with his or her cynical laughter and quick, verbally, and of course, physically abusive attacks.
  • "Spoiler Begins"

    Stephanie Brown, following the trend of vigilantes, dons a hooded, eggplant-colored costume as the young hero who spoils every villain's plans, Spoiler.
  • "Batgirl Begins"

    In attempts to get closer to her childhood crush, Robin, Bette Kane used her incredible athletic ability and donned the suit of Batgirl, following after her cousin and becoming the sidekick of Batwoman.
  • "Girl Power!"

    Barbara Gordon dons the mask of Batgirl for the first time, following Batman rather than Batwoman after saving millionair Bruce Wayne from a kidnapping. From then on, Batgirl and Batman have had many encounters, leading to Barbara becoming an honorary member of Bruce Wayne's close-knit family.
  • "Third Time's the Charm"

    Batman comes across the young and adaptable Jason Todd, a streetwise and athletic youngster, who was caught cleverly dismantling the intricate tire-casings of the Batmobile and attempting to make off with its tires. Admiring his bravery and cleverness, Batman offered the young urchin a ride in the Batmobile, a place in the Wayne family, and a cape to fight in as Robin alongside Helena and Dick.
  • "Bathound Begins"

    Batman and Robin discover young, unnamed Ace with his litter, whose owner, John Wilker, a currency engraver, was kidnapped by a gang of counterfeiters. Rescuing his owner, Ace was given to Batman by John Wilker in thanks, and was presented to the family on Christmas Day. Ace began training as the second Bathound.
  • "Teen Titans Go!"

    After years of crime fighting, and years of worrying Bruce Wayne to no end, Dick Grayson earns a reputation amongst the Justice League members, and their sidekicks. Robin teams up with Wonder Girl, Aqualad, Speedy, and Kid Flash to help solve a mystery of why their mentors are acting strangely, and eventually begin the Teen Titans.
  • "A Death in the Family"

    Batman, once distracted by a crime, was unable to come to Jason Todd's rescue as he was beaten to death in an uncharted warehouse in the outskirts of Gotham City. Beaten to death by a crowbar wielded by Batman's archnemesis the Joker, then caught in an explosion before Batman could save him, Jason Todd suffered an immeasurable death which took a major toll on the Wayne family. Both Helena and Bruce grew more violent, and Dick isolated himself with the Titans completely.
  • "Vacation"

    Helena Wayne goes away to Switzerland to attend boarding school and work on an educational background, taking a step away to quell her anger and channel her skills. At this time, she abandoned the title of Robin.
  • "Moving Out"

    By September, Dick Grayson has slowly moved closer to bonding with his team, and farther from Batman. Dick's duties pile up and are forced to be divided between Robin to Batman, and Robin as leader of the Teen Titans. Dick moves into the Titans Lair, a mountain base in northeastern U.S.A.
  • "The Smartest Bird"

    Timothy Drake, already a young genius, devoted his life to finding out the identities of Batman and Robin since the day he noticed a peculiar goings-on preceding his attendance at Haly's Circus the day Dick's parents died. Though only 8, he used his young genius to piece together who Batman and the Robins were, and hoped to help by lending his expertise as Robin. Timothy finally became Robin after Batman rescued his parents from a ruthless psychotic named Obeah Man, though Timothy's mother died.
  • "The Quiet Bat"

    On her 12th birthday, Cassandra Cain arrives in Gotham City, as a reward to herself. After traveling the world for a time, she finally escaped her father and the League of Assassins and sought new morals and purpose in Gotham City. Found by Barbara Gordon, she immediately helped the girl and introduced her to Bruce Wayne, where she was given place in Wayne Manor, an education, and the title of Batgirl with 15-year-old Bette, and 13-year-old Barbara.
  • "Busted"

    Jack Drake, father of Timothy, happened upon his identity as Robin, and probated him from being Robin. Robin was left to Dick once more.
  • "The Temp"

    Stephanie Brown, as the little, young Spoiler helps Batman solve a crime involving another Gotham undergound criminal. Stephanie was immediately given a place as a temporary Robin as Timothy's leave of absence as Robin was taken. Dick Grayson and Stephanie bonded as friends and siblings during this time.
  • "The Return of Robin"

    Jack Drake, with second wife Dana, allowed Timothy to retake the mantle of Robin after a financial crisis left his company bankrupt, as well as a mafia strike targeting one of Tim's schoolmates. Tim joined Stephanie and Dick as Robin.
  • "Bat Conversion"

    Upon the return of Timothy as Robin, 12-year-old Stephanie stripped herself of the Robin title, but continued on her crime-fighting, crime-solving streak. Joining 16-year-old Bette, 14-year-old Barbara, and 13-year-old Cassandra, Stephanie became Batgirl on the date Barbara did in honor of her.
  • "Storming the Throne"

    Talia al Ghul takes her freshly-trained, 8-year-old son Damian Wayne to spy on Bruce Wayne's work; Talia soon leaves Damian with Bruce in order to escape any more responsibility in his life and disrupt Batman's work. Little did Talia realize, Damian would soon bond to Bruce's parenting, became Robin, and found a place of belonging among new siblings in Wayne Manor.
  • "Robin Crisis"

    In a crisis event (Identity Crisis-based), Jack Drake is killed by Captain Boomerang as part of a hit. Timothy is grief-stricken and indulges in his work, and begins isolating himself to Young Justice's base, Mount Justice.
  • "The Third Son of Gotham"

    Days after his father's death, Timothy Drake is adopted by Bruce Wayne. Like Dick Grayson, Timothy honors his parents by keeping his last name.
  • "Young, Just Us"

    After a long grace period of Timothy Drake helping Bruce Wayne's Batman as Robin, Dick Grayson, and other members of the Batman family reconciled Jason Todd's death, and hoped to get their lives on track; with the spare time, Tim was met with other young heroes and began a series of missions with his new covert team Young Justice, which includes test experiment Superboy and future-born Impulse.
  • "Huntress Returns"

    Helena Bertinelli returns from Switzerland, and takes on the mantle of Huntress. Helena is welcomed back to Wayne Manor as the Waynes' dangerous eldest daughter in time for Thanksgiving.
  • "Child Abuse"

    Colin Wilkes is found by Damian Wayne in a series of events (based on Streets of Gotham). They are befriended and Colin is housed at Wayne Manor, joining the family for Christmas dinner and many dinners after that. Colin also helps Damian as the venom-induced strongman Abuse by night.
  • "Resurrection"

    After having his grave robbed by the League of Assassins, Jason Todd's body was tossed into the Lazarus Pits and replaced in his tomb to begin recomposition into a 15-year-old boy. Jason Todd was alive once more; little did he know that the Lazarus Pits' mystic properties would slowly take a toll on his psychological growth. Jason reclaimed his life at Wayne Manor soon after being found by his brothers, and reclaimed the title of Robin alongside Dick, Tim, and Damian.
  • "Blast to the Past"

    Just before Thanksgiving, a temporal anomaly occurs that brings the in-training 16-year-old Terry McGinnis to the past, immediately finding refuge in the archaic time with 16-year-old Dick Grayson, 37-year-old Bruce Wayne, and the others of Batman's family.
  • "New Hero on the Block"

    On her 20th birthday, Helena Wayne as Huntress is inducted into the Justice League of America with honors by Batman for her extraordinary ability in the field. Helena, though, was reluctant to join the League because of her brutal views on handling crime; Bruce hoped induction into the League would help her take responsibility and rethink her ways.
  • "Girl Robin, III"

    After the young Carrie Kelly was rescued by Batman on the street from a gang of merciless thugs, she hoped to get his attention by targeting criminal gangs and using her acrobatic skills to fight crime. Batman accepted her as a new Robin after seeing her keenness and resourcefulness, and took her in to train.
  • "Foreign Exchange Hero"

    Jean-Paul Valley is saved from Switzerland and the Order of St. Dumas by Batman, and taken in by Bruce Wayne to begin training. Bruce hopes to give Colin and Damian another friend to learn to cooperate with, and Gotham another helper.

  • "Bats in the League: A Legacy Continued"

    On her 20th birthday, Bette Kane is inducted into the League, due to her ability and excellence on the field, and excitedly accepts her induction; she changes her hero name to Flamebird upon induction.
  • "Grown Man"

    Finally 18, and finished with school, the not-so-young Dick Grayson begins college in Blüdhaven, and moves out of Wayne Manor; no longer the leader of the Teen Titans, Dick dons a black-and-blue suit and protects the criminally-ridden Blüdhaven as the solo-hero, Nightwing.
  • "Titans Takeover"

    With much of the first-generation Titans disbanded, the hero team Young Justice officially steps in and moves into Titans Tower, becoming the new Teen Titans: all of which led by newly-publicized leader Timothy Drake as Red Robin.
  • "The Angriest Robin"

    After continuing a concerning pattern of belligerent and violent behavior, Jason Todd storms out of Wayne Manor, a fight with Bruce Wayne driving him along with the anger in induced by the Lazarus Pits he was resurrected from. Vowing to never return, he took on the role of Red Hood from then on.
  • "The Debut of Red Hood"

    Violent crimefighter Red Hood makes his official debut in public after thwarting a villainous gang terrorizing Gotham City's streets. Batman and he have a run in that day (based on Under the Red Hood).
  • "The Future Bat"

    Terrence McGinnis is born to Warren McGinnis and Mary McGinnis, though Warren was infertile. Instead, Bruce Wayne's genetics were present rather than Warren McGinnis's.
  • "The Newest Robin Yet"

    At age 8, Terry McGinnis was already knee-deep in a life of crime and possessed a growing juvenile record; fleeing to the old grounds of Wayne Manor, he received help from Bruce, escaping the Jokerz. He was kicked out immediately after safety was ensured, but soon after, he returned after explaining his father was murdered by local criminal Derek Powers. Terry soon learned of his true genetic father and origin of being Batman's replacement, and began training with Bruce as Robin.
  • "Batman Begins (Again)"

    After years of training, 17-year-old Terry McGinnis sheds his Robin training title and becomes Batman, donning the cowl with pride and bringing Batman's legacy forward, ensuring Gotham's safety forevermore.
