    Christopher Columbus sailed the ocean in 1492 and found America though he wasn't the first one.
  • Squanto

    Excact birthdate is not known. He helped the Pilgrims fish, hunt, and plant crops. He died form a fever in 1622.
  • Pocahontas

    Excact birthdate unknown. She was born in Virginia. She died in 1617. She had three names, she was born with Matoake then changed it to Pocahontas then she died with the name Rebecca.
  • Benjamin Franklin

    He was a soap maker. He worked at a printing shop at the age of 12. In 1728 he owned his own printing shop and had his own newspaper. In 1731 he owned a library. He invented a kite and the lighting rod and many other things. He signed the Declaration of Independence.
  • George Washington

    When he was 11 years old his dad died. His picture is on the dollar bill. His sister died when he was 2. On April 30 he was elected president.
  • Boston Tea Party

    This lead to ther Revolutionary war. The American Colonists were angry with taxes. $18,000 worth of tea. Mowhawks were involved. It happened in Massachusetts on Griffins Wharf.
