John Henry Tunstall is killed by sherrif William Brady and his posse after refusing to surrender his horses. Tunstall's faithful workers then swear revenge on the men who killed Tunstall.The murder of Tunstall started many arguments and fights, and this in turn began the Lincoln County War.

William Morton is tracked down by the Regulators who claim his life in revenge for the murder on Tunstall. Before he was killed Morron led the Regulators on a five-mile gunfight before he surrendered.

While the Sherrif had been looking for the Regulators the Regulators instead had planned the ambush of the sherrif. The sherrif was killed and one of his deputies badly injured.

The Regulators track down Manuel Sagaovi ( One of Tunstall's killers.) deep in the wilderness next to Jimmy Dolan's Seven Ricer's cowcamp. Sagovi is then shot and killed.

The local newspaper hints to the coming violance that will occur with more killings. They are also warning against violance to claim vengance. Hinting to Tunstall's men.

The new Sheriff George Peppin found the house of McSween and shortly after surrounds the area and setst eh house ablaze. McSween is short and killed while Billy the Kid escaped.

The regulators flee the area in hope of finding safety. The death of McSween meant the Regulators would no longer be safe.On the way one of them kills a local farmer, and Billy the Kid is blamed for his death.

President Hayes removes the old governer from office because he is corrupt. He places Lew Walalce in his place in the hope to end the disputes in New Mexico,

The new Governer claimed an amnesty over all who were involved in the Lincoln County war. However this did not include Billy the Kid.

McSween's wife had hired Chapman to apeal the death of her husband in court. He is then killed by James Dolan, Dolan escaped the law by having powerful friends.

Billy the Kid writs a letter to the governor addressing various rumors about it.Billy denies several of these rumors and claims to have seperated from any gang. He also says he has been living off of gambling since he left.

Governor Wallace offers up a bounty to whoever can kill him. Many men begin to look for him to collect the county.

Billy the Kid is captured by Pat Garret and is placed and jail. Billy is then sceduled for execution by hanging.

Billy the Kid escapes from the jail he was kept in with the help of some locals. Billy then flees the area to find a safe place for him.

Billy teh kid is again tracked down by Pat Garrett to Fort Sumner. Billy the Kid is the shot and killed by Garrett.
