    (On Friday May 28th, 1971) At the Sydney Wentworth park (located next to cape breton regional municipality which is a city in nova scotia), Marshall met an acquaintance named Sandy Seale, who was a 17 year old black youth. Marshall was 17 years old at this incident.

    They found out the Ebsary admitted to stabbing Seale to one of his roommates, and that his daughter saw him washing off blood from his knife on the night of the murder. (1981), Ebsary was convicted for murder for stabbing another person

    (1982), Marshall’s case was closed, however, the RCMP officers decided to reopen this case based on a witness that claimed he was not guilty and they opened his case after 11 years of prison.
