    On December 8, 1886, Diego Rivera was born in Guanajuato Mexico along with his twin brother who died two years later, his actual birth name was Diego María de la Concepción Juan Nepomuceno Estanislao de la Rivera y Barrientos Acosta y Rodríguez

    In 1922 Rivera started his first government-commissioned mural, Creation was created over the course of a year and covers over a thousand square feet. The figures in the mural are over twelve feet high. it was in the technique of Fresco.
