    Daniel met Jeff Foxworthy in the Mid 1980's they instantly become friends and came up with jokes together. They would bounce jokes off each other for hours seeing what was good and what wasn't. This was their way of really perfecting their "Product" or material.

    In Palm Beach Florida Daniel had a reputation for being "the funny guy" with his friends. He was dared by them to perform his routine at a local comedy club. He was a big hit and fell in love with being on stage.

    In 1991 Daniel started to make a name for himself. He was a regular caller on several radio shows. His favorite act he would call in with would be a TV installer with a strong southern drawl. The name he used for this was "Larry The Cable Guy." This name stuck and from then on "Larry" and his catch phrase "Get er Done" where becoming well known. This displays his "product" and material being promoted through the radio. He got his name out there by calling radio stations and telling jokes.

    The Big Time
    After playing many comedy clubs and realizing there is money to be made in the business Larry teamed up with his friends Jeff Foxworthy, Bill Engvall, and Ron White. They started a group tour. The Tour was called "The Blue Collar Comedy Tour" it was a great success grossing over 15 Million Dollars. This shows the product, the place, the promotion, and the price, all working together to make this a great marketing success.

    After coming off of the success of the tour "Larry" again went on his own. He produced his first full length Cd "Lord, I apologize" selling more than 500,000 copies. Yet another example of using a show to promote his product and advertise the price.

    Larry's DVD Special "Git er Done" released he sold more than 1 million copies and went platinum. Again Price Promotion and Product are all major factors in this success.
  • Big Recognition

    Larry's Voice was used for the New Disney Movie "Cars." This was icing on the cake in promoting Larry this expanded his comedy from the Raunchy Adult Comedy to something that is fun for the whole family.
  • Making It Personal

    By this time Larry's face was everywhere. His sayings "Git er Done" and "Lord I Apologize" where everywhere. These small sayings worked to promote himself in a big way. He appeared on "The Tonight Show" and "Live with Regis and Kelly" to discuss his new found success. He opens up on these shows really describing his background and home life. This made him more personal with his fans only strengthening the promotion he has already built.

    New TV Series
    In January of 2010 Larry came out with a new TV series starring him called "Only in America with Larry The Cable Guy." In this show he travels the country looking for the craziest things Americans do. This yet again helped to promote his average joe mentality that helped add to his success.
  • Charity

    In Sept. of 2010 Larry donated 5 million dollars to the "Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children" in Orlando Florida. Again helping to show and promote his family oriented side. The donation came after the hospital helped cure his son Wyatt's Dysplasia. The hospital built a new wing called "The Wyatt Whitney Wing." This story hit the media and blew up with promotion for Larry.
