    Winston Churchill delivers the speech in the United States. He is concerned about Soviet aggression in Eastern Europe. The Iron Curtain is the division between Capitalists Western Europe and Communist Eastern Europe. He wanted America to take a bigger role in Soviet aggression.

    He feared the spread of communism. He also created a policy named "Truman Doctrine" named after himself. This policy gave aid to any country that was threatened by communism. This gave the US trading partners.

    George Marshall was the secretary of the state. He offered a plan, the "Marshall Plan" which gave all European nations funding to rebuild their economies, but only if the money was spent on good.

    This is where the British and US flew planes in which flooded the supplies in Western Berlin. This was only after the Soviet Union blockaded Berlin city. Medicine and food were the main supplies that were being flown.

North vietnam wished to be united into just one country again under the lead Ho Chi Minh and many peoplefrom the south followed him because they didn’t care much for the North’s leader.This little debate cause a war to form between the two sides.

    The soviet Union launched the sputnik satellite into our space. it was the first satellite to completely orbit the Earth. The US feared that the soviets were ahead in space exploration and military mussels so they increased defense and began to move quicker on America’s Space Program.
