    The Korean war was from June 25, 1950 – July 27, 1953. The war ended due to the armistice agreement

    In may 1955 the Warsaw Pact was formed. This is also know as the Treaty of friendship
  • Cuba taken over

    Cuba was taken over by Fidel Castro. He was a communist. This took place in May 1959

    President Nixon extends Vietnam War to Cambodia .This took place in April of 1970.

    In July of 1979 the Salt II agreement was signed. This was signed by the United States and the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics.
