1,400 Cuban Refugees attempted to storm their homeland, and over through the communist leader, Fidel Castro. The assult was planed by American forces and the refugees where trained by americans. Due to the lack of support, the invasion failed. The failed invasion only heated up the Cold War to escelade to become what is known as the Cuban Missile Crisis.

It all began when a U2 spy plane captured pics of Cuba with soviet offensive missiles. The chaos ended when both sides decided to back off with their nuclear arms aimed at each other.
