    After the war ended president Truman got with many other world leaders from countries like Europe and France to create the united nations to help prevent and solve conflicts around the world. They did this to prevent another world war.

    The Truman Doctrine was a policy to defeat communism when it spreads to other countries it didn't already exist in.

    A plan by the united states to provide foreign aid and financial aid to countries in western Europe. This was to help them rebuild after the war and become economically stable well also using this as a way to convince them to not take part in communism.
