On October 29th 1956 Israeli forces pushed into Egypt after the Egyptian president made the Suez Canal national. The Israeli troops were followed and backed up by France and Britain, their goal was to remove the Egyptian president and regain power in the west. The Cancellation of the Avro Arrow
The Avro Arrow (or The CF-105) was a
supersonic jet plane. This jet was designed to carry air-to-air nuclear-tipped missiles to destroy Soviet bomb attacks over the Canadian North. Even though this jet seemed like a good idea at the time, it was much too costly to keep up and running, therefore why the cancellation took place. -

This was the most serious event that happened during the cold war between the United States and the USSR that took place in October, 1962. This is when the Soviet Union, took action at sea, bringing nuclear missiles to Cuba. -

In August of 1961, the government of the communist began to build a wall made up of concrete and barb wire between the east and west of Berlin in order to keep “fascists" (follower of fascism) out of Berlin. But in 1998 it was torn down my german citizens in protest.
