    The Eastern Bloc was the countries that were under the control of the Soviet Union at the time of the cold war. These countries where nder a communist reign influenced by the Soviets. Also some were under the Warsaw Pact.

    The defeated country of Germany was divided between the Allied Powers and the Soviet Union. The divisions ruled by the United States, England, and France were living by a democratic government which would be called west Germany. While the east Germany was ruled under communism under control of the Soviet Union. European countried were in runis after the war took place which plans of aid and support were in effect to the European powers.

    Berlin Blockade and Airlift
    The Berlin Blockade was an attempt by the Soviet Union to prevent the U.S and England from sending aid to the people of west Berlin that were under the Allied Powers control. As a result they then flew planes in to west Berlin, which went past the blockade and failed. As a result of their failed attempt, the Soviet Union took down the blockade.

    The Marshall Plan, was a doctrine that said, the U.S. was to help provide aid and support towards the countries of Europe that would accept the aid. These countries would be the ones of western Germany, as the eastern countries were forced not to accept by the Soviet Union.

    In 1949 the then leader of China, Mao Zedong, has announced a new form of order for China. He declared that it would then be known as People's Republic of China.

    The Korean War happened when the communism began to spread in to Korea. True to the Truman Doctrine, the U.S went to Korea to try and prevent the spread of communism to the country. This resulted in the country of Korea being separated in to two different nations. North Korea would become and communist reign and South Korea would become a form of democracy.

    The Cuban Revolution was the revolt by the Cuban people against government. People revolted against the Cuban leader, dictator, Fulgenico Batista, lead by Fidel Castro. This would take place on July 26.

    The Vietnam War had a similar circumstance to the Koran War. Again this was fought upon the spread and thought of communism. The South, whom was a republic, was fighting against the North whom in turn was a communist party and rule. The South however lost this war and it therefore was taken over by communist reign.

    The Hungarian Uprising or Hungarian Revolution was a fight against communist rule.The people didn't appreciate or like the Stalin/Soviet enforced government. The Hungarians created a revolt and revolution against the communist Hungarian rule at the time to overthrow the government.

    After Germany was split in to divisions with the west being a democratic and more open rule and the east being a communist reign which would be the same for the capital city of Berlin. Many people in East Germany would flee to West Germany and East Berlin people would flee to West Berlin. To make an attempt to stop this, the Soviet Union build a wall and barrier around West Berlin and across the border of East and West Germany.

    Cuban Refugees, who fled Cuba when Fidel Castro gained Cuban leadership, were trained under American military and training. These trained refugees would be sent to have a full invasion of the country of Cuba. However Castro's military troops overpowered the them.

    During the cold war, the Soviet Union were having nuclear weapon test plants on the island of Cuba. This shown a threat to the U.S as Cuba was in a close proximity of the U.S coast. The U.S demanded that the weapons be removed from Cuba, but the Soviets refused. On the last minute, the Soviets did however turned out and removed the weapons from Cuba, hence stopping a close threat of the U.S and Soviets going to war.

    The Soviet Union in an attempt to spread communist rule, sent troops to the Afghanistan country. The Soviet troops wanted to over throw the Afghanistan government. This would lead to them establishing a communist Soviet influenced rule on the country.

    The Chinese people attempted to protect against the Chinese rule which would take place for days. Finally to stop and maintain the may be violent protesters, they gathered in Beijing. In the Beijing park square, Chinese troops would open fire on the citizens, killing many and multiple people. .

    The leader of the communists party declared the people were to allowed to start and cross over the Berlin Wall after 30 years. After this the Berliin wall was destroyed by people and eventually fell.

    The Soviet Union's economic values began to decrease. Some economic materials would include oil, gas, and food source of fruits. As the Soviet Union began to further get weaker and collapse, the leader, Mikhail Gorbachev, would resign from his place of leadership.
