    The Yalta Conference was a meeting of three world war two allies. in February of 1945, in Crimea, Russia. The three leaders agreed to split germany into four zones of occupation after the war. they promised all liberated countries to get free elections. Because the liberated countries get free elections, this is a move towards a change. the effect that it had on liberated countries is getting them to move towards liberalism where voting is accepted in such a country.

    Potsdam conference was held in Germany. The USA, USSR, and UK leaders met and discussed matters related to Germany and Poland. they confirmed plans to disarm and dismilitarize Germany. After Germany surrended the potsdam helped set the stage for the cold war. that begin shortly after world war two. the conference caused tensions over European issues. USSR agreed at the conference that they would fight japan after ww2 which did had minor effect on liberalism because of agreement as allies.
