The Americans stopped the Heartbreak Ridge in September to rethink their strategy. The American Army began their final assault on the Chinese Army and by October 15, 3,700 Americans and 25,000 Chinese Army were either killed or wounded with the American army capturing the terrain. This was important because the American army captured terrain.

    The Battle of Hill Eerie was fought between the UN troops and the Communist Forces in 1952 at the Hill Eerie. Hill Eerie was under the U.S.. The Battle of Hill Eerie was fought in three phases. In June 1952, the Chinese launched another attack in an attempt to capture the hill but were resisted by the Filipino Army bringing an end to the Battle of Hill Eerie. This is important because it was a big event that happened during the war.

    The Berlin Wall was a concrete barrier wall that divided Eastern and western Berlin from 1961 to 1989. This wall was made to stop people from fleeing East Berlin. This was important because it was symbolism of how communism and democracy are and were so different.

The U.S. Army used air mobility and artillery and the Vietnam Army fought the U.S. at close range to neutralize them.

    The Battle of Khe Sanh took place at Khe Sanh in South Vietnam in the province of Quang Tri. The battle took place from January 21, 1968, to April 9, 1968. Vietnam bombarded the U.S. Marine garrison which led to a battle that lasted 77 days. The Battle of Khe Sanh was one of the longest battles to be fought during the Vietnam War. This was an important event because the U.S. Army had to leave the battle for the first time because of the pressure from the enemy.

    The Battle of Hamburger Hill was between the ARVN with U.S. Army support against the PAVN for eleven days from May 10th through May 20th in 1969. The battle was on Hill 937 which was renamed Hamburger Hill. The Battle of Hamburger Hill was a part of the Operation Apache Snow whose goal was to get rid of the PAVN forces from Shau Valley. The Battle of Hamburger Hill was an important event because it led to people think that the whole battle was pointless.
