John was one of the famous four members of the Beatles. He was very young when he passed, born on Oct. 9th, 1940, and passed Dec. 8th of 1980. He had a very unfortunate death by murder. He was shot after returning from a recording studio in New York with his wife. The death of one of the famous four was devistating to all ages in that era.

After their break-up in 1970, they each enjoyed successful musical careers of varying lengths. McCartney and Starr, the surviving members, remain musically active. Lennon was shot and killed in December 1980, and Harrison died of lung cancer in November 2001. With that being said, this effected the American and British pop culture majorly. The Beatles was highly influencing the American pop culture as to of what our pop culture was formed from.

Paul McCartney, one of the four Beatles members that are still alive and musically active today. This Bitish bloke was born June 18th, 1942, and is still in great shape today. McCartney, Lennon, Harrison and Starr received MBEs in 1965, and in 1997, McCartney was knighted for his services to music. An MBE is commonly refferenced to people who are nationally known for their carreer or job. MBE stands for(in this case) Master of Business Economics. Being Knighted also is a huge deal, for the UK.
