  • Winston's Marriage

    Around a decade before the events of "1984" Winston was married to a woman named Katherine. Winston reflects on how the government controls the system of marriage. He reveals how emotions are forbidden in this government and how marriage is only for reproduction
  • Winston's seperation

    Winston and Katherine perpetrate due to not being able to have children. The party encourages separation if the couple cannot reproduce.
  • Winston's Prostitue

    2 years after the divorce, Winston has his first relapse. Winston hires a prostitute, which is illegal and could be punishable. The prostitute was an older lady. Regardless of her physical appearance, Winston still has sex with her.
  • Winston's recall of a Facecrime

    Weeks prior to the events of "1984", Winston recalls a man he saw in the street from the party holding a briefcase. He had a very rapid spasm. What he witnessed was a facecrime which you could be vaporized for.
  • Winston's diary

    Winston writes in his illegal diary about his encounter with the prostitute. He reminisces about his previous wife, Katherine. He hopes writing about the prostitute will help alienate his anger, however it doesn't suppress his anger, In result Winston screams in agony.
