  • Energy

    Energy
Faraday lived from 1791 to 1867, used his knowledge of electromagnetic energy to invent the dynamo, which converted motion into electricity. Discovered the principle of electromagnetic generators was in 1831-1832.
  • Kinetic Energy

    Kinetic Energy
When you think of energy, you might think of action-or objects in motion, like a baseball that shatters a window. An object in motion does have energy. Kinetic energy is the energy a moving object has because of its motion. The kinetic energy of a motion object depends on the object's mass and its speed. Gottfried Liebniz and Johann Bernoulli first developed Kinetic Energy
  • Change Requires Energy

When something is able to change its environment or itself, it has energy. Energy is the ability to cause change. The moving baseball had energy.

  • Potential Energy

Potential energy is stored energy due to its position. The hanging apple has energy because of its position above Earth's surface.
