    In 1865 President Lincoln was murdered by John W. Booth. On Janurary 1st 1862 President Licoln signed the Emancipation Proclamtion. He alo past the 13th and 14th admendment.
  • Andrew Johnson

    Andrew Johnson
    He took office right after President Lincoln was killed. Johnsons recorsturtion act failed after the Amkerican Civil War. He was acquited by the U.S Senate for his impeachment.
  • Ulysses S. Grant

    Ulysses S. Grant
    He destoryed the Ku Klux Klan in 1871. Had the U.S Treasury put more gold into the market lowering the price of gold during the black friday scandel. He was easily re-elected in 1873 because he was a honred war hero.

    Wanted to stay out of any foreign affairs. Signed the Bill Requirement for Black rights and the Domestic Act.

    He apionted 7 people to be ambasetors to different countries. He was shot on July 2nd of 1881. He also stressed education for African Americans.

    The Mckinley tariff act past under Harrison. He was part of the first Billion Dollar congress. He also turned a surplus after Cleveland left office.

    He annexed Hawaii.He made Civil Services more flexable. He also past the Gold Standard were the Government set a standdard.

    He established national parks such as Yellow Stone. He built a larger Navy and help end the Russo-Japan
    War. He also finished the Panama Canal.
