    Black Elk was born in 1863 on the Little Powder River

    Black elk began having visions when he was 5. The vision that set him apart from others happened when he was 9. He was very sick the summer when he had his vision. He traveled into the spirt world in his vision.

  • Crazy horse died

    September 5, crazy horse was killed in a fight with the white people who where trying to put him in prison.

  • Black elk left the reservation

    In 1886, Black Elk left the reservation to tour with Buffalo Bill’s Wild West Show

  • Ghost dance

    The ghost dance was first performed in Nevada in 1889. The Ghost Dance was a spiritual movement that was preformed among Western American Indians.
