Bill founded Dunkin Donuts in 1950. Dunkin Donuts is a company that produces coffee, donuts, and sandwiches. The first Dunkin Donuts was in Quincy, Massachusetts because it was close to his home town of Boston.

By 1954, Mr. Rosenberg had opened a total of five Dunkin' Donuts shops, and had been featured as a young entrepreneur in national publications such as The Saturday Evening Post and Coronet magazine.

Mr. Rosenberg faced many challeneges when dealing with his business but the main two challeneges were competition and money. Competition was local stores at first until the company grow. The other challenege was money because he didn't have the money to grow bigger until the business started to sell a larger variety of products.

Mr. Rosenberg was very succesful. He expanded his company from one store in Massachusetts to 10,000 stores all over the world.

He died on September 22, 2002 at the age of 86 of bladder cancer. His net worth was 1.5 billion.
