    William Henry Gates III is born to attorney Bill Gates, II and Mary Gates, a school teacher at the University of Washington. He is rasided in Seattle.

  • Bill Gates enrolls at Harvard University

    Gates graduated from Lakeside School in 1973. He scored 1590 our of 1600 on teh SAT and subsequently enrooled at Harvard College in teh fall of 1973.

  • Bill Gates and Paul Allen form partnership called Micro-Soft

    He did not have a definite study plan while a student at Harvard and spent a lot of time using the school's computers. He remained in contact with Paul Allen, joining him at Honeywell during the summer of 1974.
