    He is still alive and well with having graduated from both University of Alberta and Pittsburgh in Canada. Born in Germany though. He taught at Princeton University, Yale University, University of Toronto, and University of South California. He continues as the editor over the Journal of Philosophical Logic and plays a role in the American Philosophical Association.
