    Berry Fey reated his concert premoting company and called it Feyline, Inc. When he first started, he worked with other companies. Soon he began to take off and was able to make his own. He moved to Denver and hoped to spead some San Francisco "love" to Denver. He opened The Family Dog (a local club) to show bands, but that didnt last long. He started booking bands including The Doors, Janis Joplin, The Greatful Dead, and Jimi Hendrix. He started booking dates at Red Rocks. Pages 1-36 total:1298
  • Backstage Past, Part 2

    Berry Fey also helped with The Denver Pop Festival and Woodstock Music Festival in '69. At the Pop Festival, there were riots everywhere with people protesting that it was "their" music so it should be free. At Woodstalk, he said it became a free entry. Everyone was so nuice and loving towards each other. He said it was "significant" but not "great" like everyone (\who claimed to be there) said it was.     Berry claimed the four Gods of Rock were The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, The Who, and Led Zeppelin. He knew Paul the best out of The Beatles. He was very close with The Rolling Stones but was disappointedwhen Mick started acting better than the others. Fey said The Who were loud but clear and they all stayed together as a band. With Led Zeppelin, he thought they were all great except Bohnom; he was a mean alcohalic. Berry loved Red Rocks and booked there all the time. Pages 49-88 total: 1348

    Berry said U2 was the band he had ever been the closest too. Has he did anything for them, they did anything for him. Berry Fey got surgery and When U2 heard, Bono flew to him and visited. Then, he had someone so make sure Berry, and Berrys son, got safetly to the airport, on the plane, and all the way home. Beryy said he'd never forget what they did for him then.     Barry was not a fan of groupies. He always kicked them out whenever he got the chance. He thought they were annoying and in they way of his business. Also, he felt like they messed with his marriages. Barry was very good at gambling and at one point, he was addicted. He went wit the wrong people sometimes and got into some trouble with the law. Barry Fey found many people "legends". People such as Pink Floyd, Elton John, Van Halen, the Beach Boys, and many others. Pages 149-216 total: 1473
  • Backstage Past, Part 6

    Berry talks about some of the people he has met;some he liked, some he hated. In either case, they impacted his life. Berry had to go to rehab because his friends in Aerosmith belived he had an addiction to eating and gambling. When Ticketmaster started getting big, concert promoters like Feyline were getting smaller. While tickets should only cost around $30-$35 now, the cost up to $450. Berry Fey also promoted the Colorado Symphony and sports (baseball and football). Pages 107-148 total: 1406

    Barry lists a few stars of rock n' roll "From A to Z". He talks about their style, how their shows went, and how they acted. He shared how he played basketball with Bon Jovi. "intoduced" Gwen Stefani's merriage, and how Whitney Houston's shows were honestly very boring. He also made lists of 'Best Rock Band', 'Best Rock Drummer', 'Best Albums', and many more. The best rock band he said was the Beatles, Keith Moon won best drummer, and Sgt. Pepper was the bast album. Pages 217-270 total: 1526
