  • Victoria Holmes is Born

    Victoria Holmes, or better known as Vicky Holmes, was born on July 17th, 1975, on an estate in Berkshire, in the United Kingdom.

  • Victoria Holmes Goes to College

    Around this time, Victoria was attending or soon to attend University of Oxford most likely majoring in English, as after she graduated, she became an English teacher for a while, until she was hired as an editor for working partners. She had said, when looking back, that the buildings in the college "inspired an interest in history."

  • Victoria Holmes Creates the First Book of the Warriors series

    Harper Collins, a famous book publishing company, had recently asked Victoria to write a fantasy series about fictional cats, despite her dislike for fantasy. Victoria teamed up with Kate Cary to create the author pen name, "Erin Hunter." Victoria wrote the story line and plot, while Kate Cary wrote the book. They began the series with the first book, "Into the Wild.". They did not know this at the time, but this would be the series they were going to be most famous for.

  • Victoria Holmes Publishes her Book, "Rider in the Dark"

    On September 7th, 2004, Victoria published her book, "Rider in the Dark", under her own name. This book demonstrates her love for horses, as she had grown up with horses and had learned to ride them at a very young age.

  • Victoria and the Other "Erin Hunters" Finish the First Sub-Series of Warriors.

    Victoria Holmes and the other Erin Hunters published the last book of "The Prophecies Begin" in the Warriors series, soon to begin the next sub series, "The New Prophecy".

  • "The Horse from the Sea" is Published

    Victoria Holmes creates her second horse-related book on April 26th, 2006.

  • Victoria Holmes Publishes Her Book, "Heart of Fire"

    Victoria Published her last horse-centered book on October 10th, 2006. This is the third book that she publishes under her name.

  • Victoria Holmes and the "Erins" Create the "Seekers" Series

    As apposed to a series based around cats or horses, Victoria and the other "Erin Hunters" create a new series based on bears. They wrote the first book, "The Quest Begins" on February 10th, 2009.

  • Victoria Creates the "Survivors" Series

    Victoria and her team write a new series known as "Survivors" with the first book, "The Lost City", which is from the perspective of a dog.

  • Victoria Holmes Will Release a New Series, Known as "Bravelands"

    The first book of the series, "Bravelands", is set to be published on June 6, 2017. This series is from the perspective of African animals, such as a lion, an elephant, and a baboon. The first book will be known as "Broken Pride".
