  • Dalton's Model

    Dalton's Model
    John Dalton was responsible for the model.
    Dalton Model was different from the rest because he saw the model as a solid sphere. I guess he saw it as like a ball of billiards. When he was making this model the electrons and the nucleus were unknown.
  • Thomson's Model

    Thomson's Model
    Joseph John Thomson was responsible for the model.
    The electron had been discovered, but the nucleus had not yet. Although elecrons had been found, they still don't have a full understanding of the arrangemnt of them. The rest of the atom was said to have had a positive charge. 'Soup' of positive charge.
  • Rutherford's Model

    Rutherford's Model
    Ernest Rutherford was responsible for the model.
    He discovered something new called the nucleus that had a possitive charge. Which was also surrounded by negative charges. Thought as the universe with the nucleus being th sun, and the elecrons orbiting around, similar to planets.
  • Bohr's Model

    Bohr's Model
    Niels Bohr was responsible for the model.
    This model solved the problem that the other model didn't have. Which was that NIiels Bohr figured out that there are certain levels of electrons that atoms can radiate. That is waht led to the discovery of the arrangemnt of electrons.

    Electron Cloud's Model
    Erwin Schrodinger is responsible for the model.
  • Chadwick's Model

    Chadwick's Model
    James Chadwick was responsible for the model. He discovered the neutron in the nucleus of the atom. The neutron had no negative or positive charge, it was just neutral.
  • Democritus's Model

    Democritus's Model
    (400b.c) A Greek philosopher Democritus was responsible for the model. He believeed that everything belived that evything started with something small. Which then Grew into something big that gathered the information together, then made more sense. Everything did not just appear out of no where that it first began small and then grew.
