Atomic Model Timeline

  • Period: 100 to

    atomic models

  • 400

    The Alchemist 400bc

  • 400

    Plato

Was a important part of the Timeline. He was a phylospher. He made up the theory of form.
  • 430

    Democritis

He made up the atomic theory. Its not invisible but between atoms it lies space.
  • Robert Boyle

He proposed that elements are basically composed of of various sorts and sizes capable of organising themselves into groups and that each group constitutes a chemical substance.
  • Lavoisier

he invented the Law of Conservation of mass. In a chemical reaction mass cannot be destroyed nor created.
  • John Dalton

He was a English Chemist. HIs theory was that atoms were invisible. Compounds are formed by joining or more elements.Became one of the foundations of modern chemistry.
  • Dmitiri Mendeleev

He discovered the periodic table. He wrote 65 known elements on cards. Later on the periodic table was established in 1869.
  • The Curies

Th curies discovered two elements. Those two elements are polonium and radium.
  • J.J. Thomson

In 1897, English scientist provided the first hint that an atom is made of small particles.
  • Albert Einstein

Albert's theory was of relativity. It was determined by the laws of physics. Also showed that the light within a vacuum is the same no matter the speed at which it travels.
  • Ernest Rutherford

His discovred the atomic structure. in which the electrons were embedded in a positively charged atom like plums in a pu dding.
  • Henry G. J. Mosley

He discovered the periodic table's true basics.
  • Bohr Model

    Bohr Model
Neils Bohr introduced his model in 1913, that travel in a circular motion just like the solar system. The atoms travel around the nueclus
  • Niels Bohr

His atomic model was apart of modern physics that showed protons and neutrons. On the outside was the electrons orbiting the neucleus.
