  • The first alert.

    At 7.02 am, the aerial radars from the United States registered some anormal activity, they located some aircrafts flying. Because that day there were already flights of B-12 foreseen, they did not give it any importance, not knowing te consequences this would bring.
  • Japanese attack Pearl Harbor

    On Sunday December 7th 1941, a the Japanese airplanes from the ‘Imperial Japanese Navy Air Service attacked Pearl Harbor. In few hours they were able to destroy all the battleship anchored at Pearl Harbor, and because of this, more than 2400 americans were killed.
  • The day after the first bombardment

    On the 8th December 1941, after the first bombs were dropped by the Japanese, the Congress was asked by President Roosevelt to declare war to Japan. After a full approval from the Congress, the House of Representatives voted with the amazing result of 388 votes in favour and 1 against.
  • The Countries against E.E.U.U.

    The declaration of war from the United States to Japan caused some imminent consequences. Countries like Italy or Germany declared the war to the United States, and with this, the Second World War begun.
  • A new attack from Japan - the Bataan Death March

    American and Filipino forces weren't able to stop Japan's advance in the Philippines.
    For this reason, more than 70,000 American and Filipino soldiers had to surrender to the Japanese. Unfortunately, more than 600 Americans and about 10,000 Filipinos died in the Bataan Death March.

    Battle of the Coral Sea

    American and Japanese aicraft carriers and fighter planes clashed in the Battle of the Coral Sea. It was not clear who won, but, on the other hand, the assault of Japanes on Port Moresby was stopped.
