Why they attacked ?
The japanese empire wants to expand their territories in the Pacific Ocean. And doing this they think that they will win the war, so they attacked to Pearl Harbor, Hawaii. -
Attack to Pearl Harbor
In the morning of the 7th of december of 1941, the imperial japanese navy attacked to the naval base of Pearl Harbor. The japanese won to the U.S.A, so they declared the war to Japan and entered in the WWII. Germany and Italy declared the war to U.SA, because they were alllies with Japan. -

Declaration of war to Japan
The next day in Washington, the president Franklin Roosevelt made a speech with the Congress. A lot of radios went to this speech which Roosvelt sayed that the attack eas " a day that would live in infamy" and declarated with the Congress the war to Japan and his allies. -
Midway Battle
Yamamoto thought that if he attacks Pearl Harbor for a second time would cause the entire US fleet to go into combat,. Since the attack on Pearl Harbor the USA power increased and he determined that attacking Pearl Harbor again will be a risk so Midway was chosen for a new attack. Japan tried to conquer Midway, but they lose a lot of ships and after a lot of combats Japan lose the battle, this battle and stopped the plans of expantion of Yamamoto. -
Hiroshima and Nagashaki
The war in Europe ended, but in the Pacific the war not ended, yet. President Truman thoughts that if he doesn't do anything the war won't end never, so USA dropped tho atomic bombs in the japanese cities of Hiroshima and Ngashaki, it killed millions of people immditely, Japan capitulated and the war end.
