Celebrities organized benefit concerts and performances. People attended impromptu candlelight vigils and participated in moments of silence.During this time there as a sense of unity which help people who were in mourning giving them hope for the next day.

However ,the work was so dangerous that rescue teams wrote their names on their forearms in case they fell into the hole or were crushed.
