    Japan wins the Battle of Midway
    Thanks to the cunning tactics of Marshal Admiral Isoroku Yamamoto, the Imperial Japanese Navy was able to best the United States, sinking 2 of their 3 carriers, and severely damaging the third, while only losing one of their own. The crippled 16th and 17th Task Forces retreated to Hawaii.

    Pacific Fleet given new orders
    Realizing the danger of the Japanese victory only 1,100 miles from Hawaii, United States Naval Command orders all Pacific Fleet ships to sail to Pearl Harbor for any possible defense.
  • USS Enterprise Sunk

    USS Enterprise Sunk
    At 1:37 AM, Japanese planes sunk the USS Enterprise, which had originally survived the Battle of Midway, along with 3 other major ships.
  • Atlantic Fleet reassigned

    Atlantic Fleet reassigned
    Again frantically attempting to provide any defense against the massive Imperial Navy, most Atlantic Fleet ships are reassigned to the Pacific Theater, leaving the United States' allies to fend for themselves against the less powerful Kriegsmarine.

    Second Battle of Pearl Harbor
    After waiting for the rest of the Pacific Fleet to arrive, the Combined Fleet of the Japanese Navy launches a brutal attack on Naval Base Pearl Harbor. The battle lasted for 3 days, wiping out the majority of the remaining ships and disintegrating US presence in the Pacific.
  • Germany invades Great Britain

    Germany invades Great Britain
    The United States is unable to protect merchant ships carrying Lend-Lease Goods to the United Kingdom, and many are sunk by German U-Boats. Due to this and the lack of American presence in British waters, Germany is able to successfully launch an invasion across the English Channel. Within two months, the entire island is under Hitler's control. All of Europe is now ruled by the Axis Powers.

    Germany wins the Battle of Stalingrad
    After defeating the British, German forces are able to focus on the Eastern Front. This leads to an overwhelm of Soviet Forces in Stalingrad, allowing the German advance further into the Soviet Union.
  • Japan controls the Pacific Ocean

    Japan controls the Pacific Ocean
    After six months of fierce resistance, the Japanese Navy now has complete control of the Pacific Ocean. The United States government has issued recommendations to evacuate West Coast cities.
  • Allies and enemies

    Allies and enemies
    Realizing that invasion is imminent, the United States frantically tries to gather as many allies as possible, signing treaties with Canada, Mexico, and Australia. Many smaller countries decline and instead pledge allegiance to Japan and Germany.

    After Moscow was captured, the Soviet Union surrendered to the German Empire. The Germans set up a puppet state in the eastern part of the USSR.

    At 3:00 A.M. local time, the Imperial Japanese Army landed at three different beach locations. The US Army put up a good fight, but without proper naval support, the Japanese were able to establish a beachhead and began to push inland.

    Still anticipating a German invasion from the East Coast, the United States is reluctant to commit too many troops to the defense of the West Coast. The Japanese Army continues to make progress and has now reached the Hoover Dam, cutting off water supply to the majority of the Southwest United States.

    German and Soviet forces have crossed the Atlantic and attempted to land in New England. The US military was able to defend the first wave and force the enemy back to sea. Japan continues to advance towards the East coast.

    After reinforcements arrive, the joint German-Soviet military creates a beachhead in Georgia. The US is now facing domestic invasion on two fronts.
  • United States Occupied

    United States Occupied
    By August 1945, after months of hard-fought victories and losses, the United States is jointly-occupied by the Empires of Japan and Germany. There are still pockets of rebellion, especially in the Appalachian and Rocky Mountains, but the majority of the country is controlled by these foreign powers.
