civil war prisons guards we aressting soldiers that didnt have a pass and that were drunk and the were sent to jail to get sober

he was going to Gallatin, a town in nashville

sumner county he was going to Gallatin he didnt know how long he was going to be there and he didnt know where he was ging next.

he saw dogwood trees

dogwood tresshe saw dogwood tress and thr weather was hot so he could tell that is was spring.he also gave his wife 10 cents

blacksmithsthe town he was in was made up of a depot, 2 taverns, 3 stores, a blacksmith shop and about 12 or 15 dwellings.

children of the civil warhis wife had a baby they were trying to figure out what to name it he wa really happy. and he was hoping he was going to come home soon.

There was a fight with harrison group and some robber

John Hunt Morgan there was a fght wth a robber (John Hunt Morgan ) and harrisons group but harrison was not a part of it he stayed back but he watched it happen
